• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,050-$2,160
• Setting: Cardiac Stepdown / PCU / Telemetry
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Shift Pattern: 3 shifts per week; every other weekend coverage expected
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours Per Week: 36

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for assignment requirements
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Cardiac Stepdown, PCU, or Telemetry nursing experience
• Strong experience titrating and managing cardiac drips is required
• Experience managing vasoactive drips and telemetry monitoring
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with Epic charting is required
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care environment
• Flexible, team-oriented approach, including willingness to float as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to Cardiac Stepdown and Telemetry patients
• Assess and monitor patients with CHF, Afib RVR, chest pain, post-cardiac cath, and post-MI needs
• Titrate and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips safely and effectively
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and maintain accurate documentation in Epic
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, coordinated care
• Provide patient-centered care while maintaining a calm, efficient approach in a high-acuity setting
• Support unit flow, including weekend coverage and floating to similar acute care units when needed
