Travel ICU Registered Nurse opportunity in Edmonds, Washington, just north of Seattle. Join a high-acuity adult Intensive Care Unit and provide critical care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply.

• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Orientation: 12 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,900 - $2,000
• Location: Edmonds, WA - a scenic Pacific Northwest community with waterfront charm and easy access to the Seattle metro area

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent ICU experience required
• Active Washington RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• TNCC preferred
• Experience with charting systems required; any EMR experience accepted
• Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation, ventilator management, arterial line care, and central line management
• Ability to care for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced critical care setting
• Comfortable floating to IMCU / Telemetry as needed
• Weekend coverage required as needed
• Must be willing to work 3 of the 5 major holidays during the contract

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a busy ICU
• Monitor and manage complex conditions including sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, GI bleed, renal failure, DKA, and multi-system organ failure
• Support advanced critical care interventions such as IABP management, PA catheter monitoring, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Interpret ABGs, manage dysrhythmias, and maintain safe, effective critical care practices
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
• Document patient care accurately and communicate clearly with the interdisciplinary team
• Float to IMCU/Telemetry when needed and support unit coverage as part of a flexible team approach
