Overview

This Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse travel opportunity offers an 18-week assignment, with a 13-week option currently accepted. You’ll care for a diverse adult patient population in a collaborative, team-oriented healthcare environment while building valuable acute care nursing experience in Cleveland healthcare.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Schedule Notes: Travelers may need to work every other holiday and may float to similar patient care areas as needed

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of combined permanent experience in the Med/Surg Telemetry specialty
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications in hand
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Ability to complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and SafeMedicate during orientation
• Must meet all onboarding and compliance requirements prior to start
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination compliance required, with approved medical or religious exemptions only

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Adapt to rotating shifts and float within the same patient population as needed
