Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Mother/Baby, Postpartum, or Mom/Baby nursing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate maternal and newborn care
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and maintain reliable attendance
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns
- Monitor maternal recovery and infant wellness following delivery
- Support patient education on newborn care, recovery, and discharge readiness
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to promote safe, positive outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately
- Deliver a calm, reassuring, family-centered experience for patients and loved ones
