Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse travel assignment in Dallas, Texas, located in the welcoming Dallas, TX 75203 area, for an experienced obstetrics nurse ready to join a high-acuity, fast-paced team. This 13-week Dallas healthcare job offers 12-hour day shifts, Epic charting, and the opportunity to support mothers and babies in a collaborative Labor & Delivery / High-Risk OB unit.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse who is confident in obstetrical nursing, comfortable with variable scheduling needs, and ready to provide exceptional care across labor and delivery, antepartum, postpartum, and obstetric emergency situations. This travel nursing position is ideal for RNs who thrive in a dynamic environment and want to make a meaningful impact every shift.

• Location: Dallas, TX 75203
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 - $1,770
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling with weekend coverage and call requirements
• Unit Setting: Labor & Delivery / High-Risk OB
• Charting System: Epic

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS, BLS, FHM, and NRP certifications
• Experience using Epic is required
• Ability to care for patients across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and obstetric emergency cases
• Comfort working variable schedules, weekends, holidays, and call shifts as needed
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring, postpartum, antepartum, and high-risk obstetric patients
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and obstetric procedures
• Monitor fetal status and recognize changes in maternal or fetal condition
• Support patients during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and recovery phases
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products according to clinical standards
• Respond to obstetric emergencies and collaborate with the care team on urgent interventions
• Document care accurately in Epic and maintain strong communication with the interdisciplinary team
• Promote a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment for mothers and newborns
