Job Requirements

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare setting
• Education verification required

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult Med/Surg and telemetry patients
• Administer medications and treatments according to nursing standards and provider orders
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and promptly
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge planning
• Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive patient experience
• Use critical thinking to recognize changes in condition and escalate concerns appropriately
