• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Charting System: EPIC electronic medical record (EMR)
• Orientation: One 12-hour shift with a preceptor
• Schedule Notes: Flexible scheduling with weekends, holidays, and standby coverage as needed

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient acute rehab nursing or comparable Med-Surg experience
• BLS certification required
• Rehab nursing certification preferred
• QIM experience preferred
• Previous travel nurse experience highly preferred
• Comfort working in a 30-bed unit with acuity-based ratios of 1:6-8
• Ability to use EPIC and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Driver's license required for submission

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult rehab and Med-Surg patients
• Support patients recovering from post-op, cardiovascular surgery, stroke, orthopedic, and neurological conditions
• Care for patients with diagnoses including falls, knee and back surgeries, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and post-acute COVID conditioning
• Administer and monitor IV fluids, electrolytes, antibiotics, and blood products
• Provide safe, patient-centered care for patients with PICC lines and ports
• Collaborate closely with charge nurses, therapy staff, and support techs to ensure smooth unit operations
• Float to Med-Surg as needed and assist with admissions or low-census coverage
• Maintain a patient-centered approach while adapting to weekend, holiday, and standby needs
