• Setting: Ambulatory surgery and peri-anesthesia recovery
• Shift: 10-hour evening shift, typically 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM or 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,560 - $2,690
• Location: Burlington, MA

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 3-4 years of PACU nursing experience preferred
• EPIC experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• PALS or ENPC certification required; equivalent accepted
• Strong recovery room and peri-anesthesia skills with the ability to work in a busy ambulatory PACU
• Prior travel nurse experience not required

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate post-anesthesia care for ambulatory surgical and procedural patients
• Monitor patients during recovery, assess readiness for discharge, and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical, and nursing teams to ensure smooth patient flow
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC and follow established PACU recovery protocols
• Support a positive team culture and contribute to a collaborative peri-anesthesia environment
• Work effectively in a high-volume unit with approximately 25 beds and a daily caseload of about 35 patients
