Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 3-4 years of PACU nursing experience required
• Prior travel nurse experience is not required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• PALS or ENPC certification required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced post-anesthesia care unit

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality post-anesthesia recovery care for ambulatory surgery patients
• Monitor patients closely for airway management, pain, nausea, and recovery status
• Assess vital signs and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Prepare patients for safe discharge following procedural recovery
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members to support patient flow
• Document care accurately in EPIC
• Support a positive, professional environment for patients, staff, students, and new team members
