Job Requirements

• Active Indiana RN license or compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of registered nurse experience, including at least 1 year in ICU nursing
• Experience with ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and caring for psychiatric patients
• Comfort using EPIC charting and Pyxis medication administration systems
• Ability to float to Critical Care units as needed
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork in a high-acuity healthcare setting

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based patient care to ICU patients
• Monitor and manage ventilators, BiPAP, and other critical care equipment
• Administer medications and titrate vasoactive infusions according to unit protocols
• Assess patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in clinical status
• Document care accurately in EPIC and maintain timely charting standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes
• Support orientation and unit training expectations, including required onboarding shifts
• Provide flexible coverage within Critical Care when floating is needed
