Travel RN Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Shifts Per Week: 3
• Weekend Requirement: Rotating
• Floating: Required to ED holds or inpatient areas as needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460 - $1,540

Pediatric RN Job Requirements

• Active Texas RN license required; temporary licenses are not accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Experience caring for pediatric patients required
• BLS required
• PALS required
• ENPC required
• TNCC required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the emergency department
• Perform thorough assessments, triage, and ongoing patient monitoring
• Administer medications and support a variety of pediatric interventions
• Perform IV starts, in-and-out catheterizations, and medication reconciliation
• Collaborate with physicians, midlevel providers, techs, and unit support staff
• Respond to changing patient needs in a busy, high-volume pediatric ER environment
• Float as needed to support ED holds or inpatient areas
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit policies and safety standards
