This travel Registered Nurse opportunity is ideal for an RN who enjoys caring for diverse medical-surgical patients while using strong cardiac and telemetry assessment skills. Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent med-surg nursing experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS required
• Telemetry experience required
• Strong cardiac telemetry knowledge and EKG rhythm identification skills
• Experience with cardiac medications and drips, including titratable and non-titratable infusions
• Comfort working with Meditech or similar electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Ability to adapt quickly in a travel nursing assignment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical patients with cardiac needs
• Monitor telemetry and identify rhythm changes promptly
• Administer and manage cardiac drips per protocol and provider orders
• Assess patients, document findings accurately, and communicate changes in condition
• Collaborate with charge nurses, nursing assistants, and unit support staff to maintain efficient patient flow
• Support a patient ratio-focused environment while maintaining high standards of care
• Use clinical judgment to prioritize care and respond to evolving patient needs
• Maintain professionalism and follow unit standards for scheduling, teamwork, and documentation
