Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Progressive Care Unit, telemetry, or step-down nursing experience strongly preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient monitoring skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and communicate updates promptly
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and provider orders
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
• Support safe patient throughput and promote excellent clinical outcomes in an acute care setting
