• Weekend Requirement: Rotating weekends
• Floating: Required to float to units within scope as needed
• Orientation: Brief unit orientation provided

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; pending New Mexico or compact RN license accepted prior to start
• At least 1 year of ICU nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic experience preferred for this hospital RN position
• Strong critical care background with comfort managing complex adult ICU patients
• Ability to work night shifts, rotating weekends, and float when needed
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based care to adult ICU and CCU patients
• Monitor and manage patients with conditions such as sepsis, ARDS, CHF, DKA, GI bleeds, overdose, and post-operative complications
• Care for ventilated patients and support advanced therapies including CRRT
• Administer blood products, titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips, and manage central lines and arterial lines
• Interpret dysrhythmias, ABGs, and other critical data to guide timely interventions
• Support infection prevention, isolation precautions, and high standards of patient safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Adapt quickly to changing patient acuity and assist with floating assignments when required
