We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support a busy Med/Surg – Medical Stroke unit. In this travel nursing job, you will provide direct patient care, collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team, and help deliver excellent outcomes for patients with a variety of medical and surgical needs.

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med/Surg or acute care experience preferred
• Experience with stroke patients strongly preferred
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work nights and scheduled weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg and medical stroke patients
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond appropriately to clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support safe, effective care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in EPIC
• Promote patient comfort, safety, and education throughout the care experience
• Support a collaborative unit environment and deliver dependable care during night shifts
