Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Travel Assignment – Farmington, CT

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470-$2,600
• Setting: Emergency Room / Emergency Department
• Employment Type: Travel RN, W2
• Location: Farmington, Connecticut
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend, with call and holiday rotation; mandatory overtime may be required for unit coverage

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• At least 1 year of prior travel RN experience in the Emergency Room
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency department with changing patient priorities
• Willingness to float to the Psych Hold area if needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients across a broad range of emergency conditions
• Assess, stabilize, monitor, and respond quickly to patients with varying levels of acuity
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support safe, efficient patient flow
• Prioritize care effectively in a busy, high-energy ER nursing environment
• Assist with care in the Psych Hold area when needed
• Participate in weekend, holiday, call, and overtime coverage as part of the staffing rotation
