• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical / Med-Surg
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Med/Surg / Infectious Disease Unit
• Location: Parkersburg, WV 26101
• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Weekends as scheduled; every other weekend required
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 - $2,030
• Charting System: EPIC
• Float Requirement: May float to other Med/Surg units as needed

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg or acute care nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• EPIC experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong knowledge of Med/Surg nursing, infection control, and isolation precautions
• Ability to care for patients with infectious disease, COVID-19, MRSA, C. diff, and other isolation needs
• Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment and adapting to changing unit needs

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to a diverse Med/Surg patient population
• Provide care for patients requiring isolation and infectious disease precautions
• Administer medications and IV therapies per plan of care and unit protocols
• Monitor patient status, document assessments, and update care plans in EPIC
• Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Support unit flow and flexibility by floating to other Med/Surg areas when needed
• Maintain professional communication, accountability, and a patient-first approach
