• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930-$2,030
• Charting System: Allscripts
• Care Team Support: Tele techs, charge nurse, HUCs, and PCTs
• Floating: May float to Med/Surg units and ICU for Med/Surg overflow patients
• Scrubs: Any color; scrubs not provided

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification required
• PALS preferred
• Experience caring for telemetry patients
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team-based healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg and telemetry patients
• Monitor patients closely and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Care for patients with varying acuity levels, including pediatric patients when applicable
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe and efficient patient care
• Manage a typical patient ratio of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights, adjusting for acuity
• Float to Med/Surg units and ICU as needed for overflow care
• Document accurately and efficiently using the Allscripts charting system
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining clinical standards and unit workflow
