This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers the opportunity to work in a well-established 36-bed Adult/Geriatric Telemetry / Med-Surg unit with a collaborative interdisciplinary care team, strong clinical support, and Epic charting. Tyler, located in the heart of East Texas, offers a welcoming community, convenient city amenities, and plenty of outdoor activities during your time off.

Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at the time of submission
- At least 1 year of nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
- Telemetry RN and med-surg experience strongly preferred
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with Epic charting required
- Ability to manage adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced telemetry environment
- Must be comfortable floating to units of equal acuity
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care for adult and geriatric telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and identify changes in patient condition promptly
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the plan of care
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Document accurately and efficiently in Epic electronic health records (EHR)
- Support safe, compassionate care in a 1:6 patient ratio environment
- Float to comparable units as needed based on patient acuity and staffing needs
- Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach throughout the assignment
