- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360–$2,480
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Patient Population: Neonates, infants, and pediatrics
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Cardio-help experience required
- Current BLS and PALS certifications required
- Strong ECMO experience required, including VA ECMO and VV ECMO
- Ability to provide ICU bedside nursing care when ECMO patients are not present
- Experience in pediatric, NICU, PICU, or CVPICU settings preferred
- Epic charting experience preferred
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Manage ECMO pumps for pediatric and critically ill patients with cardiac and non-cardiac needs
- Support patients on VA ECMO and VV ECMO with safe, attentive clinical care
- Function as a bedside ICU nurse when not assigned to ECMO support
- Provide nursing care for cardiac, non-cardiac, and NICU patients based on unit needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, phlebotomy, and rapid response support
- Participate in drills, ongoing education, and competency maintenance for Cardiohelp system use
- Maintain strong communication, patient safety, and clinical judgment in a high-acuity pediatric critical care environment
- Float as needed to NICU, PICU, and CVPICU settings
