ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Night Shift in Nashville, TN

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800–$1,890
• Contract Length: 14 weeks

• Orientation: 12 hours
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Setting: 13-bed ICU with stepdown acuity support
• Weekend Commitment: 6 weekend shifts during the contract

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing or critical care experience required
• Travel nurse experience required
• Active Tennessee RN license or compact multi-state RN license required at submission
• Current Nursys report required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and CPI required; MAB accepted in place of CPI
• Experience with charting systems required
• Must be comfortable caring for a prisoner population
• Must be available to complete required pre-start compliance items and testing
• Ability to work in a self-scheduling environment and support holiday rotation

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care nursing to ICU and stepdown patients
• Monitor and manage complex diagnoses including sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, MI, DKA, dialysis, and post-procedural cases
• Perform and support bedside procedures, conscious sedation care, and rapid response interventions
• Care for ventilated patients and manage advanced therapies such as arterial lines, central lines, vasoactive drips, and cardiac drips
• Assist with chest tube management, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia management, and blood product administration
• Float as needed to comparable acuity areas and assist with assigned tasks based on unit needs
• Maintain safe, professional care practices while working closely with interdisciplinary support teams
• Follow all compliance, scheduling, and patient safety expectations throughout the assignment
