• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights

Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active RN license in hand
• At least 1 year of recent experience in cardiac stepdown, telemetry, ICU, or a similar acute care nursing environment
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, telemetry, and cardiac monitoring skills
• Comfortable floating to ICU or IMCU as needed
• Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients with complex medical needs
• Monitor telemetry, assess cardiac rhythms, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to care plans and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery goals, and discharge readiness
• Float to ICU or IMCU when assigned and provide flexible, dependable support across the unit
