Med/Surg Registered Nurse (Travel RN) – Clyde, North Carolina

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations in an acute care setting
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Flexibility to work weekend rotations as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality bedside care for Med/Surg patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, effective patient care plans
• Administer medications and therapies in accordance with nursing standards and provider orders
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately
• Support a positive patient experience through strong communication, teamwork, and clinical excellence
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
