Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license required at time of submittal
• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Comfort working in a cardiac stepdown or intermediate care environment with occasional med/surg overflow
• Epic experience preferred
• Ability to manage patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on assignment

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to cardiac stepdown, telemetry, and intermediate care patients
• Monitor telemetry and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Support cardiac drips, IV therapies, heparin protocols, and related nursing interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote efficient, high-quality patient care
• Float to med/surg as needed to support unit coverage and patient flow
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to a positive patient experience
