• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,050 - $2,160

• Patient Population: All age ranges, including stroke patients
• Charting System: Epic
• Weekends: Required, no more than every other weekend
• Float: May float based on unit needs
• Orientation: 24 hours

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• Compact RN license required at submission
• At least 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• 1.5 years of ER nursing experience preferred based on assignment details
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac rhythm management
• Experience caring for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Skills in central line care, IV vasopressors, and continuous IV sedation
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP and ventilated patients
• Ability to perform triage and follow isolation precautions
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, fast-moving emergency department environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients in a busy ED setting
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition quickly and confidently
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions per provider orders and protocols
• Support stroke care and other time-sensitive emergency presentations
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary team members to support safe patient outcomes
• Participate in triage, dysrhythmia monitoring, and advanced patient care needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic electronic health record
• Float to other units as needed based on skill set and unit demand
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented care environment focused on excellent patient service
