• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Charting System: Epic experience preferred/required
• Assignment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing Job

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Experience with electronic health record charting systems required
• Community hospital experience required
• Strong clinical skills in emergency nursing, patient assessment, and triage
• Ability to work with patients of all ages, including neonates through geriatrics
• Must be comfortable floating based on unit needs
• Vehicle required for assignment-related travel needs

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with a wide range of conditions
• Support the treatment of adult, pediatric, and geriatric emergency patients
• Perform and assist with critical interventions, procedures, and IV management
• Administer medications, blood products, and emergency therapies as ordered
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services teams
• Adapt quickly to changing patient volumes, acuity, and unit priorities
• Float to other units or nearby facilities as needed to support patient care
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care with strong teamwork and professionalism
