Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at the time of submittal
• At least 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) preferred
• Ability to work rotating 36/48 scheduling as needed
• Strong emergency care, triage, and rapid clinical assessment skills

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, efficient care in a busy Emergency Department / Emergency Room setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients using strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making
• Administer emergency medications and support stabilization of acute and critical patients
• Care for ventilated patients and manage central line care as needed
• Monitor and respond to dysrhythmias and IV vasopressor therapy
• Maintain isolation precautions and PPE standards to promote patient safety and infection control
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality emergency nursing care
• Document accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record
