Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room experience required
- Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity acute care environment
- Comfortable working night shifts and maintaining dependable attendance
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions in the Emergency Department
- Perform rapid assessments, initiate interventions, and collaborate with providers on individualized care plans
- Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition in a high-acuity ER setting
- Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and established nursing protocols
- Document care accurately and maintain clear, timely communication with the interdisciplinary care team
- Support a safe, efficient, and compassionate environment for patients and families
