Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU, critical care, or other high-acuity nursing setting
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• Current ACLS certification from AHA
• Epic experience required
• CT surgery experience required
• Experience with IABP and IMPELLA devices required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
• Flexibility to work select holidays as scheduled
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Support care for patients with cardiac surgery and thoracic surgery needs
• Manage and assist with advanced cardiac devices such as IABP and IMPELLA
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment plans
• Float between the ICU and IMCU as needed based on patient care needs
• Document nursing care accurately in Epic
• Maintain a professional, adaptable approach in a high-acuity hospital environment
