Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience or related acute care experience
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• BLS certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills in a high-acuity environment
• EPIC charting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to laboring patients and newborns
• Monitor fetal tracings and support clinical decision-making throughout labor and delivery
• Assist with assessments, interventions, and patient education during all phases of obstetric and maternal-newborn care
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive patient outcomes
• Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and prioritize care in a dynamic acute care setting
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record using EPIC
• Support a positive patient experience through professionalism, empathy, and excellent bedside care
