Job Details

• Location: Quincy, IL 62301
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090 - $2,200
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shifts per Week: Typically 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Care Setting: Acute care medical-surgical unit
• Patient Population: Pediatric and adult women’s med/surg
• Charting: EPIC
• Medication System: Acu-dose
• Openings: 2 positions available

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Recent EPIC experience within the past year required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• PALS certification required due to pediatric patient care
• Ability to provide care for both pediatric and adult patients
• Comfortable floating based on unit needs and census

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients across pediatric and adult women’s populations
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate effectively with the care team
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health record systems
• Support unit flow by adapting to changing census and acuity needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain a professional, patient-centered approach in a busy acute care environment
