Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent hospital Med/Surg nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a busy inpatient setting
• Preferred: Burn care experience
• Preferred: Wound care and ostomy care experience
• Preferred: ACLS certification
• Comfort working with Meditech EMR

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to adult Med/Surg patients
• Deliver wound care and dressing changes for post-op burn and flap patients
• Monitor patient status and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Support a patient ratio of approximately 6:1 with LPN support
• Work closely with charge nurses, RNs, LPNs, and PCTs to maintain smooth unit operations
• Use equipment such as Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, and PCA devices as needed
• Document care accurately in the EMR and follow unit policies and best practices
