Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Weekend Rotation: Rotating weekends or 4 weekend days per schedule
• Setting: Emergency Department / Pediatric Emergency Room
• Unit Size: 9-bed offsite freestanding emergency room
• Floating: Main ER and nearby freestanding emergency rooms, including pediatric emergency coverage

Emergency Room RN Requirements

• Current RN licensure and at least 1 year of emergency nursing experience
• IV skills, EKG skills, and triage acuity training
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and BLS
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility with assignments and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
• Preferred certifications: ENPC and CPI

Emergency Department Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, efficient nursing care to emergency room and pediatric patients
• Perform triage, assess patient acuity, and prioritize care appropriately
• Carry out common emergency nursing procedures such as IV placement, EKGs, Foley catheter placement, and specimen collection
• Assist with moderate sedation and support onsite point-of-care lab testing
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to maintain safe patient flow and quality outcomes
• Adapt to floating assignments across emergency care locations as needed
