Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU or neonatal Level III experience required
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Experience providing care in a high-acuity neonatal intensive care setting
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
• Required certifications must be active and ready for submission
• Ability to complete facility onboarding assessments during orientation
• Willingness to complete pre-start modules and required compliance steps before assignment begins

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns in the NICU
• Monitor neonatal patients closely and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to NICU standards
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to support individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate patient updates effectively
• Support families with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication
• Contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient unit environment
• Follow facility protocols, safety standards, and all required compliance procedures
