• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,370 - $2,500
• Start Date: 10/21/2026
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Charting System: Meditech
• Call: Weekend and holiday call as needed; call is typically minimal
• Holiday Commitment: Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays
• Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Work Environment: Surgical services team setting with facility-provided scrubs

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of current, recent Operating Room RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license in hand at the time of submission
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong comfort supporting a high-volume OR environment with multiple case types
• Ability to work weekend and holiday call when needed
• Must complete pre-start compliance requirements and onboarding modules on time

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room across a broad range of surgical procedures
• Support safe, efficient surgical workflows for scheduled cases and urgent needs
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Meditech
• Follow universal protocol, infection prevention, fire safety, latex allergy, and radiation safety practices
• Assist with patient preparation, intraoperative monitoring, and post-procedure handoff as appropriate
• Ensure readiness for specialty cases including orthopedic, robotic, gynecologic, urologic, thoracic, and general surgery procedures
• Contribute to a positive team environment focused on quality patient outcomes and smooth surgical operations
