• Position: ICU Registered Nurse (ICU RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 11/2/2026
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010
• Unit Type: ICU Neuro/Trauma/Medical
• Patient Population: Neuro, trauma, medical ICU, stepdown/progressive care, and medical overflow
• EMR: Epic
• Bed Size: 17 beds
• Float Requirement: Yes
• Call Requirement: May be placed on call once every 4 weeks

Job Requirements

• Active RN license and current BLS certification
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• TNCC or TCAR preferred
• Minimum 3 years of recent critical care nursing experience preferred
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills, including successful facility testing
• Experience caring for complex ICU patients in a high-acuity setting
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and provide reliable, punctual support to the team
• Comfort working in a collaborative environment with changing patient acuity

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside care for critically ill neuro, trauma, medical, and stepdown patients
• Monitor patient status closely and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Manage and assess advanced critical care equipment such as vents, IV pumps, CRRT, BiPAP, chest tubes, and related devices
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, effective care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in Epic
• Support a patient ratio that may range from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity
• Complete assigned education modules and unit-based competencies as required
• Contribute to a positive, dependable team environment focused on excellent patient outcomes
