Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse – LTAC
- Employment Type: Travel Nursing
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930 - $2,030
- Shift: 12-hour night shift
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
- Weekend Coverage: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday required
- Location: Kansas City, Kansas 66112
- Start Date: ASAP
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of bedside clinical nursing experience required
- BLS certification required prior to first shift
- ACLS certification required prior to first shift
- Strong documentation, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a care team
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within required timeframes
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
- Communicate patient status changes to physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary care team members
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
- Support discharge planning and patient and family education from admission through discharge
- Supervise and direct ancillary nursing staff as appropriate
- Promote a safe, organized, and patient-centered care environment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support rehabilitation goals and quality outcomes
- Contribute to a positive unit culture through teamwork, professionalism, and reliability
