Travel Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – 8-Week Contract in Exeter, NH

Join a dedicated medical-surgical telemetry team as an on-site Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in Exeter, New Hampshire. This 8-week travel nursing contract offers consistent 12-hour night shifts in a collaborative float pool environment, where your expertise will support safe, high-quality care for patients requiring acute medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring. Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360–$2,480
• Location: Exeter, New Hampshire
• Healthcare Setting: Medical-surgical telemetry float pool
• Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Hours: 36 hours per week; 72-hour biweekly guarantee, excluding on-call hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Start Date: January 11, 2027
• Contract Duration: 8 weeks, ending March 6, 2027
• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract

Travel Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in New Hampshire
• At least 2 years of recent medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience
• Recent experience caring for adult acute-care patients requiring cardiac and telemetry monitoring
• Epic electronic medical record experience
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend

Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical telemetry patients based on individual needs and established care plans.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, symptoms, and clinical changes, escalating concerns promptly to the appropriate care team.
• Administer medications and treatments safely while evaluating patient responses.
• Perform focused and comprehensive patient assessments, develop nursing interventions, and reassess outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Document assessments, interventions, patient progress, and handoff communication accurately in Epic.
• Support safe transitions of care through patient education, discharge planning, and clear communication with families and caregivers.
• Adapt to assigned medical-surgical telemetry areas within the float pool while maintaining consistent standards of care.
