ICU Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600
• Location: Plymouth, Massachusetts
• Healthcare Setting: 14-bed Intensive Care Unit serving adult and geriatric patients
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: Approximately 36 hours per week; rotating weekends and holidays
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call time
• Start Date: January 11, 2027
• Assignment Duration: 8 weeks, ending March 6, 2027
• Work Arrangement: On-site travel nursing assignment

ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required at the time of submission
• At least 2 years of recent Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or critical care nursing experience required
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated competency in core critical care nursing skills, including mechanical ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation medication titration, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Proficiency in cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management, including post-STEMI care
• CCRN certification or relevant continuing education preferred
• Successful completion of pass/fail telemetry/ECG and medication testing prior to acceptance
• All requested time off must be submitted with the application; holiday time off is not available, and requests should not exceed 3 days

ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult and geriatric medical-surgical patients
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition
• Manage mechanical ventilation and support patients requiring advanced respiratory care
• Titrate vasoactive, sedative, and other critical care medications according to clinical protocols
• Recognize and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias, post-STEMI conditions, and other emergent changes
• Collaborate with intensivists and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and promote safe, evidence-based patient care
