Travel RN Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600
- Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts
- Healthcare Setting: Nursing Float Pool
- Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract
- Start Date: February 1, 2027
- End Date: February 27, 2027
- Contract Duration: 4 weeks
- Nursing Shift: 12-hour rotating day and night shifts
- Hours: 48 hours per week
- Work Environment: On-site, with assignments across multiple hospital units
Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
- At least 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
- Strong telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
- EPIC experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts in a nursing float pool environment
- Adaptability and confidence caring for patients across multiple inpatient units
Travel Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Complete comprehensive assessments, administer medications, and implement individualized plans of care
- Float to multiple hospital units as needed while maintaining high standards of clinical practice
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in EPIC
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and ongoing care needs
