• Location: Tucson, Arizona

• Shift: Night shift, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Healthcare Setting: 38-bed Emergency Department
• Additional Details: On-site travel nurse position; must be willing to float; 48-hour weekly guarantee may be considered

Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department Registered Nurse experience
• Active Arizona Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience with or familiarity with Cerner preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
• Willingness to float as needed

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Emergency Department patients using the nursing process
• Perform patient assessments, prioritize care, and respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Apply critical thinking, clinical judgment, and evidence-based nursing practices to support safe patient outcomes
• Deliver emergency nursing care in accordance with the Arizona Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies and procedures
• Support patients presenting with emergency, trauma, stroke, and STEMI-related conditions
• Delegate patient care activities appropriately based on staff education, experience, and competency
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competency through continuing education and ongoing professional development
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote efficient patient flow and quality patient care
