Travel Nursing Job Details

• Nursing Shift: 12-hour evening shifts
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call time
• Assignment Dates: October 20, 2026 – January 16, 2027
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Additional Scheduling: May be asked to work up to 48 hours per week based on Emergency Department needs

Travel ER Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or a compact state
• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Successful completion of at least one prior travel nursing assignment
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Epic electronic medical record experience
• Ability to work 12-hour evening shifts and every other weekend
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency care environment

Emergency Department Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to patients presenting with emergent and urgent medical conditions
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, triage, ongoing monitoring, and timely reassessments
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
• Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Support emergency procedures, stabilization efforts, and patient transitions to appropriate levels of care
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families
