Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks, ending December 14, 2026
• Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse assignment

• Travel Requirement: Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the assignment location to be considered for the travel rate.

Med/Surg Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• At least 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Ability to provide safe, effective care for adult patients with varied medical and surgical needs
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts and maintain the required travel nursing assignment schedule
• Completion of all facility-required credentials and pre-employment requirements before the start date

Medical-Surgical RN Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout the shift
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and nursing standards
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Recognize changes in patient status and communicate concerns promptly to the interdisciplinary care team
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, support staff, patients, and families to coordinate care
• Provide patient and family education related to diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while promoting patient safety and quality patient outcomes
