Travel ICU Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Missouri
• At least 1 year of recent ICU/CCU nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong patient assessment, critical-thinking, and emergency response skills
• Ability to manage ventilators, medication drips, invasive monitoring, and other complex critical-care equipment
• Flexibility to float to the Med-Surg unit as needed

ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide continuous, specialized nursing care to critically ill or injured patients
• Perform frequent patient assessments and promptly identify changes in condition
• Manage ventilators, medication infusions, complex equipment, and critical-care therapies
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to implement and evaluate individualized treatment plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely while maintaining accurate clinical documentation in Medhost
• Respond rapidly to emergencies and support patient stabilization efforts
• Educate and compassionately support patients and their families
• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care when floating to Med-Surg
