Travel RN Job Details
- Position: CVOR / Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Rockford, Illinois
- Healthcare Setting: On-site cardiovascular and interventional procedural care
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Shift: Day shift with a rotating on-call schedule, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 29, 2026
- Position Availability: 1 opening; quick-start opportunity
Travel Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; education verification is required
- At least 3 years of Registered Nurse experience, including at least 1 year of critical care experience
- Previous cardiovascular intervention experience is required
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current BLS or CPR certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Successful completion of an EKG test before orientation is completed
- Ability to participate in rotating on-call coverage
CVOR and Interventional Radiology RN Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and interventional procedures
- Use the nursing process and critical thinking to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
- Administer medications and treatments according to approved nursing standards, policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
- Monitor patient condition, prioritize safety, and respond effectively to complex clinical situations
- Develop and execute patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical documentation
- Provide patient and family education at an appropriate level of understanding
- Delegate appropriately, collaborate across departments, and escalate concerns through the proper chain of command
- Participate in performance improvement, peer review, shared governance, and evidence-based practice initiatives
- Support continuity of care and contribute to a positive patient experience throughout the procedural journey
