CVOR Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment

Position Overview

Seeking experienced CVOR Registered Nurses to support cardiovascular surgical services. Candidates must have previous CVOR experience and be prepared to participate in the required call schedule.

Schedule

Regular Shift:
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Call Requirement:
Per 4-week schedule:

• 5 weekday call shifts, 16 hours each
• 2 full weekend call shifts, 48 hours each

Candidates must be available for the full required call rotation.

Required Qualifications

• Previous CVOR experience
• ACLS certification
• Ability to work the scheduled 6:00 AM–2:30 PM day shift
• Ability to participate in the required weekday and weekend call schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support for cardiovascular surgical procedures.
• Assist with patient care throughout the CVOR surgical process.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other perioperative staff.
• Maintain patient safety and follow CVOR protocols.
• Support the surgical team during scheduled procedures and call coverage.
• Follow facility policies and applicable infection-control and safety standards.

Call Schedule

The CVOR RN will participate in a structured call rotation consisting of:

Per 4-week schedule:

• 5 × 16-hour weekday call shifts
• 2 × 48-hour full weekend call shifts

Required Certification

• ACLS

Important Notes

• CVOR experience is required.
• ACLS is required.
• Two full-time positions are available.
• Regular shift is 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.
• Significant weekday, weekend, and on-call availability is required.
