Registered Nurse Contract Details
- Location: Tucson, Arizona
- Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nursing
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
- Shift Hours: 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Contract Dates: October 26, 2026 – January 25, 2027
- Weekend Requirement: Approximately 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona
- At least 2 years of recent medical-surgical and/or telemetry nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to float between departments and multiple nearby locations
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Cerner electronic health record experience preferred
Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients using the nursing process
- Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in clinical status, and intervene appropriately
- Demonstrate critical thinking and sound clinical judgment to support safe patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with applicable standards, policies, and procedures
- Prioritize and coordinate care for an assigned patient population
- Communicate effectively with providers, patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Delegate tasks appropriately and provide direction and supervision to assigned support personnel
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and participation in quality and safety initiatives
