This travel nursing contract is ideal for a Registered Nurse with neurointerventional radiology and stroke care experience who is ready to support complex procedures while working a rotating evening and call schedule. - Start Date: October 26, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 24, 2027
- Shift Duration: 8-hour evening shifts
- Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
- Schedule: Rotating schedule with evening shifts and call coverage. One rotation includes Monday-to-Monday call coverage from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; the alternate rotation includes two 8-hour shifts with additional call availability as desired.
- Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract
Interventional Radiology RN Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience; prior Interventional Radiology nursing experience strongly preferred
- Required experience with neurointerventional radiology and stroke care
- Current Registered Nurse license in Wisconsin or an active compact nursing license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Ability to work on-site and participate in a rotating evening and call schedule
- Strong patient assessment, communication, critical-thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
Interventional Radiology RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing Interventional Radiology procedures
- Support neurovascular and stroke-related interventions in a procedural healthcare setting
- Complete pre-procedure assessments, medication reviews, patient education, and informed preparation
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and during recovery, recognizing and responding to changes in condition
- Assist with procedural equipment, sterile practices, medication administration, and emergency interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologic technologists, anesthesia providers, and other members of the care team
- Provide timely clinical documentation, handoff communication, and post-procedure follow-up
- Participate in scheduled call coverage and respond promptly to urgent procedural needs
