Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-Week Contract in Everett, Massachusetts

Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,280–$2,410
• Start Date: November 3, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 30, 2027
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
• Shifts per Week: 3 shifts, approximately 36 hours per week
• Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and major holiday rotation required
• Scheduling: No block scheduling
• Position Availability: 1 opening

Emergency Department RN Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Recent acute care nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Active or conditional Massachusetts Registered Nurse license, verified through a current Nursys report
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Flu vaccination required during flu season
• Recent professional references from two managers or supervisors in the Emergency Department specialty
• Current resume and specialty-specific skills checklist
• EPIC electronic medical record experience preferred
• Ability to provide requested time-off information at the time of submission

Emergency Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients presenting with emergency and acute medical conditions
• Perform focused nursing assessments, support triage, monitor patients, and provide timely clinical interventions
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and established emergency department protocols
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to urgent and emergent situations
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, ancillary staff, and fellow nurses to coordinate patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, reassessments, and patient outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record
• Support patient education, discharge preparation, and safe transitions of care
• Maintain compliance with department standards, infection prevention practices, and emergency nursing procedures
