- Location: Wheeling, West Virginia
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160–$2,270
- Assignment: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- End Date: January 25, 2027
- Healthcare Setting: Acute-care IV Therapy Department
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week, typically three 12-hour shifts
- Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
- Schedule: PICC-certified nurses may work day shifts from approximately 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. or 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; nurses without PICC certification may work rotating shifts
- Electronic Medical Record: EPIC

Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in West Virginia
- At least 1 year of professional RN experience; IV therapy, infusion nursing, or vascular access experience is strongly preferred
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- PICC certification and demonstrated competency with PICC insertion strongly preferred
- Experience with ultrasound-guided vascular access preferred
- Strong patient assessment, communication, organization, and clinical care skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to rotating schedules when needed
- Current, unexpired driver's license may be required for assignment submission
IV Therapy RN Responsibilities
- Provide skilled IV therapy, infusion nursing, and vascular access care to patients in an acute-care setting
- Assess patients, evaluate vascular access needs, and select appropriate access techniques
- Insert and maintain PICC lines and other vascular access devices within scope of practice
- Use ultrasound guidance to support safe and effective vascular access procedures
- Monitor patients for treatment response, complications, and adverse reactions
- Administer prescribed medications and infusions according to established standards and protocols
- Document assessments, procedures, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EPIC
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and families regarding IV therapy, vascular access, and follow-up care
